I feel enormously privileged to have know Dave. When he was a governor at St. Mary's Primary School I regularly saw him, including via zoom during COVID! I loved hearing his stories of his research with octopuses (octopi?). He was wonderful at supporting school events and I and am.sure many others were very grateful for all the hours he gave in his role. He will be much missed and remembered with fondness.
